Another Day, Same Project

Today is kind of a tiring day. And it is so hot to go outside. And I mess up the scarf that I'm knitting. It is almost finished! Grrrrrrrrr, I accidentally pulled out the lifeline and it unraveled, so I have to start from the beginning again (since I messed it up, FUN!). It is an easy one and it has some lacy style on it. Using a lifeline and a marker is a time saver with this kind of project. And it is easy to do. So if I were you, I'll use it for every project that I do!

You can search for it on the net. I don't know if I can share the pattern here though. So I'll just tell you the name of it. It's called Column of Leaves. It is cool. I made a lot of mistake before I get the hang of it. After all, I'm only a beginner.

I have a lot of things that I want to make. But I need some longer needles. And knitting needles here is hard to find. We just relocated, so I don't know my way around yet.

Anyhow, I'll let you know if I'm done with this project and what my next project is going to be. See ya the next time around.

Teaching Myself on How To Knit

For the past month, I've been teaching myself on how to knit by watching the videos on youtube and getting some free patterns on the net.

Since I couldn't find any knitting needles at my place. I made some for myself. I used barbecue sticks (bamboo) and polished it so it won't snag the yarn.

The first project that I did was a scarf for Rusty and I ended up using it. LOL. Yeah, I know I get cold a lot at 26C.
